How long does brow lamination and hybrid dye last?

Brow lamination lasts 4-5 weeks. 3-5 weeks will mark the start of the drop process where the hairs start to fall and we recommend using your desired brow gel to up keep the lamination look. While tinting lasts up to 10 days on the skin, depending on skin type and aftercare. To extend results, avoid excessive moisture and oil-based products on your brows.

Should I choose Threading or Waxing?

Choosing between threading or waxing depends on your skin type, hair texture and personal preference. Threading is ideal for sensitive skin and does not involve heat to the skin. It offers precise shaping and is gentle on the skin. Waxing is great for those who have no non sensitive skin and who have fine hairs around their brow area. Both methods cause mild discomfort that fades quickly. At Makow, when performing the waxing method, the threading method will also but incorporated to take off any extra hairs left.

What if I’ve never had my eyebrows done before?

No worries, here at Makow we will walk you through the process and access what shape best suits your face. Throughout the process you will be able to see what shape we give you before any removing of the hairs. We will tailor the shape to your features and personal preference so you get exactly what you would like!

Should I grow out my eyebrows before my appointment?

Yes, ideally let your brows grow out for at least 3-4 weeks so we are able better access which shape works best for you. Often times if you come with 1-2 weeks of hair growth for new clients, it may be difficult to achieve your desired shape as maximum hair growth has not yet been obtained.

Should I book hybrid dye, lamination or just a brow sculpt?

Here’s a quick guide to help you choose:

• Full & Thick Brows:

If your brows are already full with minimal gaps, we recommend booking a Brow Sculpt. This includes shaping and grooming your natural brow to enhance definition—no added colour necessary!

• Sparse or Uneven Brows:

If you have thinner brow hairs or gaps, you may benefit from Lamination or Hybrid Dye. These services add structure, volume, and depth, giving your brows a fuller appearance.

• Very Sparse Brows with Significant Gaps:
